FYI: currently listening to some excellent kid's music.
So I decided to take some inventory today and see if I've got what I need--at least for the first little while. The shopping trip to Babies 'R Us is this Thursday (coupons expire on the 14th). So here's the low down:
7 onesies (0-3 mos)
5 outfits (0-3 mos)
4 hats
6 pairs of socks
4 receiving blankets
7 blankets
13 burp/lap pads
3 fitted sheets
1 quilted sheet
Suggestions on what I should pick up?

I bought one or two "preemie" outfits. we learned with Tierney (who was almost 8 pounds at birth) that the 0-3's were HUGE on her when we brought her home from the hossy. The preemies fit much better for the first week or two, although they say they are for 5 pounds and under. Do you have the little mits for his hands, so he doesn't scratch his face all up? Sometimes you need those, sometimes you don't!
